Saturday 1st December…Upcycle Your Old Lampshade

Due to Popular Demand we are once again Upcycling Old Lampshades at Sweetpea & Betty on Saturday 1st December, 10 – 4pm.
Join us and we will help you transform your old and worn lampshade (one big one or two small ones an option) into a stunning upcycled one!
All materials supplied from our beautiful collection of French, vintage and antique fabrics, buttons, bows and ribbons.

This is a very belated few lines to thank you for my inspiring day with you in September. B&B guests and a brief holiday distracted me, I meant to write weeks ago! I so enjoyed the day we spent painting and chatting, thank you for all your ideas and enthusiasm. It has given me renewed energy to get on with all the projects I have sitting waiting for me to begin!
When I am passing later in the year, I will pop in for more supplies of paint.

Furniture Painting Day 10 -4pm Tuesday 6 December 2011

At Last it’s Here….Chance for you to join us at St Michaels Hotel in Falmouth for a whole day of chalk painting!

We’ll supply all the paints, waxes, refreshments & heaps of encouragement! All you’ll need to do is buy your light lunch – we can recommend their crab sandwiches!

Start at 10am and paint all day till 4pm! 

Bring along your chair, trunk, book case, bed side table ….in fact any piece of small furniture….and transform it in one day amongst like minded people!

Crackle, Gilding, Stenciling & Decoupage Workshops Starting 26 April!

We are pleased to announce that we are now introducing our second workshop showing several techniques and materials that will make your furniture stand out from the crowd.

Use paint and varnish to give it an antique look, create a glint with metal leaf, work in a relaxed way with stencils, or decorate with paper cut-outs.

Just let us know which workshop you would like to do when booking!
